The Lawyer+Mom+Owner Virtual Summit is a first-of-its kind program devoted to “parenthood, practice and profit in the pandemic.”

Taking place Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, the conference aims to provide practical advice on protecting your firm and your clients and operating virtually during the pandemic.

It will also look at how mom-owned firms are breaking barriers in uncommon practice areas, supporting other women and advancing diversity.

For my Law Insights program on Litera.TV this week, I spoke with the two organizers of the conference, Carolyn Elefant, publisher of the blog MyShingle.com, and Jeena Belil, New York personal injury attorney, about what they have planned and why you should attend.

By the way, you need not be a mom or an owner to attend. The organizers say the programming is for anyone who runs a small firm or is thinking of starting their own firm.
