The International Legal Technology Association today named five women, from locations ranging from Canada to Kenya, as its 2021 Influential Women in Legal Tech.
The list of influential women, released annually, recognizes five outstanding women leaders in the legal technology community, based on their mentorship history and overarching level of impact on legal technology.
The five were selected from among 91 nominations after an extensive judging and review process, ILTA said in an announcement this morning. The nominees represented nine countries.
This year’s honorees are:
- Rosemary Koech-Kimwatu, public policy manager, Safaricom PLC (Nairobi, Kenya).
- Andrea Markstrom, chief information officer, Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, and founder & CEO, i.WILL – Inspiring Women Igniting Leadership & Learning (Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA).
- Farrah Pepper, chief legal innovation counsel, Marsh & McLennan Companies (New York City, New York, USA).
- Shannon Salter, chair, Civil Resolution Tribunal (Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada).
- Kristen Sonday, cofounder and COO, Paladin PBC (Chicago, Illinois, USA).
