Some of you may have noticed the blog has a new logo on the About page, and the description of the blog has changed a bit.

Here’s the back story to the changes. As most of you know, I practiced law for some 30+ years before leaving to become a full-time blogger. At first, I wasn’t really sure where I or the blog was going, but I was reasonably sure I would figure it out. So if you look at some of the articles, you will see subjects meandering from tech, to change management, to innovation and even substantive legal discussions along the way.

Almost to a person, I have heard the same thing: I have a unique voice based on my years of practice in a large firm on significant matters.

Over the past year and a half since starting the blog, I have also talked to a lot of you about the blog, my strengths and what I might have to offer in the crowded legal tech blogosphere. So, when I talk about tech, change management, and other issues, I come at it with a bit more of an experienced, nuanced, and realistic view.

Let’s face it, not many in this space practiced law as long as I did, have the interest and knowledge about tech and innovation that I do or dealt with biglaw issues boots on the ground as I did for years. Frankly, most people in my situation either hate technology, don’t like change, have retired in place or don’t want to turn and face the strange, to borrow a cliché.
