The e-discovery company Relativity said today that Mike Gamson, formerly a senior vice president with LinkedIn, has been named its new chief executive officer, effective July 1, and that founder Andrew Sieja will move to a new role as executive chairman of the company’s board of directors.
Gamson comes to Relativity after 11.5 years at LinkedIn, where he was most recently senior vice president of global solutions. In that role, he led an organization of 5,000 employees across 30 offices worldwide, responsible for functions including sales, customer success, research, insights and operations.
Earlier in his career, he was director of product marketing at Advent Software Inc.
With extensive experience in SaaS products, Gamson has served on Relativity’s advisory board since 2017, working with Sieja to help develop the company’s future strategy and expand its global market.
Going forward, the company said today, Siega and Gamson will work together to help Relativity enhance its e-discovery and digital investigations products for the legal market and enter new markets.
