Intaker, a marketing automation platform for law firms, now integrates with the practice management platform MyCase, so that every lead that comes in to a firm through an Intaker chat is automatically added to MyCase.
Intaker offers a unique chat application that begins and ends each chat session with a video greeting from a lawyer at the firm. (You can see how it works at Intaker’s website.) Intaker says that these videos help establish trust and build rapport with leads that come to a firm’s website.

For leads that come in through the chat, Intaker enables firms to pre-screen and qualify them. Leads that are qualified are then added to MyCase, making it easier for a firm to follow-up with the potential client and manage the relationship, and eliminating the need to re-enter the person’s information.

The integration will also pass on leads to MyCase that come in through a landing page from a pay-per-click campaign.
In addition to website chat, Intaker also offers business text messaging, allowing law firms to send and receive text messages, and tools for lead management and follow-up automation.
To take advantage of the integration, customers will need to have accounts with both MyCase and Intaker.
Clint Higgins, firm manager of the Bay Area Family Law Center, which is a customer of both MyCase and Intaker, tested the integration in advance of its release and said it helped to reduce the time it takes to organize and prepare leads in MyCase. “The critical information our firm needs to initiate conversations with potential clients is now automatically uploaded to MyCase.”
“Bringing Intaker and MyCase together is crucial for any firm that is either already using or thinking about taking advantage of these two powerful platforms,” said Pooya Abka, Intaker CEO and cofounder. “We are very excited about being the very first website chat powerhouse to integrate with MyCase.”
Intaker was a participant in the 2020 Startup Alley at ABA Techshow (which I oversee).
