Nomination Deadline Nears for Litera’s Changing Lawyer Awards; Will Include First ‘WFH Creative Award’

The deadline is Monday, Oct. 25, to submit nominations for The Changing Lawyer Awards 2021, sponsored by Litera, which will be presented to winners Nov. 10 as part of the fourth Changing Lawyer Virtual Summit.

The awards recognize individuals, firms, and companies in the legal industry for their role in both embracing and driving change through new technology, service models, or behavior.

For the first time this year, the awards include the category WFH Creative Award, which will recognize the most innovative way to work from home remotely, or a product/service offering unique to the circumstances of 2021.

Other categories are:

  • Law Firm of the Year Award for the law firm that has most successfully reimagined the
    way it serves its clients.
  • Legal Innovator of the Year Award for the individual who has driven the most significant
    change and provided strategic vision within their firm.
  • Disruptor of the Year Award for the alternative legal service provider or legal tech supplier that has most successfully disrupted the broader legal profession.
  • Lifetime Achievement Award for an individual who has been influential throughout their career as a champion of change, demonstrating a commitment to driving the evolution and beneficial impact of technology within legal services.

The deadline for submissions is 12 p.m. CDT on Monday, Oct. 25. Nominations can be submitted
through the awards webpage.
