Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory U.S. today relaunched Manual IP, a key compliance source within Kluwer IP Law that explains the procedures and laws involved in filing intellectual property applications in 238 jurisdictions, with what it describes as a more user-centric and innovative design.
Manual IP is a nearly 100-year-old publication, originally known as the Manual for the Handling of Applications for Patents, Designs and Trademarks Throughout the World, that WK acquired in 2004 and has been maintaining and updating ever since.
The relaunched Manual IP offers users quicker access within Kluwer IP to all information that is part of selected complex phases of patent and trademark applications, combining practical guidance with deep domain expertise to provide answers through a single source, Wolters Kluwer says.
Among the new features:
- Users can use the smart search function to get all topics in one click for major IP prosecution phases.
- Users can mark searches and topics as favorites for future reference.
- The latest searches are always saved and can be filtered.
- Users can see recent developments from the same page where they are researching.
- Users can make one-to-one comparisons between various topics from multiple countries.
